Trouble is breaking out across the kingdom of Eldoria. Looting, attacks, and unrest are multiplying, particularly in the northern regions, threatening the stability of the realm. Increasingly worried about the future of his lands, King Rodric struggles to hide his anxiety. Seeing his distress, the queen advises him to make love to his favorite courtesan and then summon his best knights to investigate these events.

At the royal court, the famous rival knights Reda and Alaric are summoned before the king. Despite their differences, Rodric entrusts them with an essential mission: to discover who is behind these disturbances and put an end to those who seek to destabilize the kingdom.

As Alaric arrives late to the summons, Reda meets Theodora, the formidable captain of the guard, on the city walls to inform her that she will be part of the expedition. Theodora agrees without hesitation when it comes to fighting, but warns that for more subtle intrigues and sexual affairs of the boudoir, they will need someone else. She proposes calling on her friend Cassandre, who might prove far more useful in that domain...
