Concerns about lap dancing

There have been a number of issues that have come up regarding lap dancing. One is the potential for a lap dance, offered in a private to semi-private room could lead to illegal sexual activity or the promotion of prostitution. The laws that are drawn up in some areas based on community feel for the strip clubs in general. More conservative locales have more stringent laws, while more liberal areas allow many of the different types of lap dances. Regardless of the laws, some clubs will have different rules regarding what the customer can and cannot do. Lap dance isn't a sex show. Others are more concerned about the treatment of the strippers and the reasons they enter the profession in the first place. Regardless of the concerns, lap dances are here to stay and represents a multi-million dollar piece of the adult entertainment pie.
